Formed in May 2003 and hailing from Plano, a suburb north of Dallas, Minority came together with a vision of creating energetic, positive music with a driving four-piece sound. Influenced by the likes of Blink 182, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, as well as a host of classic rockers, their youthful visage quickly gives way to an explosive blend of rock, alternative, and punk that overpowers audiences with catchy riffs, complex beats, and cool lyrics. With energetic, addictive guitar riffs, strong bass, aggressive drumming, and the vivacious stage presence of their vocalist, Minority has shown time and again they can deliver an impressive live performance.

Using their rich and extensive musical backgrounds, Kenny, Joel, Kyle and Alec bring creativity and experience to their song writing. These fast-paced rockers know how to please a crowd, lending to an ever-increasing following. After hearing and seeing then on stage, one will agree this foursome is truly in the musical minority
