photo of Jennifer Baldwin band Originally from Minnesota, Jennifer has spent her entire life singing. After growing up singing in choirs, Jennifer used her talents as a vocalist to put herself through college singing at a piano bar, where she discovered a love for jazz standards. After moving to Texas, she began providing backup vocals on albums and live performances for artists such as Flickerstick, from the famed VH-1 Program "Bands on the Run" and Cary Pierce of JACKOPIERCE. Along the way, RCA record executives were introduced to Jennifer and flew her to Los Angeles to record a song for an album "Balligomingo," featuring female vocalists from the United States and Canada.

Upon returning to singing jazz standards, Jennifer teamed up with the artistic director of the Dallas Jazz Orchestra, honing her skills further and enabling her to work with some of Dallas' finest musicians. Jennifer formed her own band, steeped in the traditions of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Diana Krall. Jennifer achieved great success with this project performing weekly at Sambuca in Dallas, and singing for corporate events and private functions. Her success continued with an opening performance for the Grammy Award winning Rippington's at the House of Blues in Dallas.

In an effort to keep things fresh and new, Jennifer has now added a new layer to her already successful jazz band by taking billboard hits from the 70s, 80s & beyond and infusing a sultry, jazz twist. What has resulted is a sophisticated sound that brings jazz to the masses. Songs everyone from this generation has come to love can now be enjoyed in an exciting new way, bringing the love of jazz to those who may not have the knowledge of traditional standards from decades passed. This diversified musical experience, coupled with Jennifer's understanding of allure and presentation, make for a captivating experience for her audience.
