Years ago, I learned as social chairman of a major fraternity that the party ain't going anywhere if the band is weak. This Saturday, the Groove Academy helped make my wife's birthday party a truly memorable event and the best party many of us had been to in a very, very long time. The song list was perfect and the arrangements were superb. Interaction with the audience was great and helped keep the audience enthusiasm high. If I'd had 100 Groove Academy business cards I could have given them all away.
Don't know if I mentioned this, but my wife seriously studied music for 11 years. (As you will recall, she was the lady who kept throwing down her crutches so she could get up and dance...despite her broken ankle). She summed up your performance very simply. 'They were outstanding.' I think she wants to join the band so she can participate in the fun every week...
