Brotha Magnum (a.k.a. Magnum de Pimp)

Hailing from the Oakland Area, Magnum brings Talent, Attitude, Showmanship, and Electricity to the front and center position. A multi-instrumentalist, Magnum grabs the audience with a voice, guitar, and both hands to deliver the DysFunkshunal word. Before joining DFJ, Magnum traveled the globe bringing his undeniable brand of party to the people. Teaming up with Johnny Big 7 years ago, Magnum vowed to deliver a Party Atmosphere and booty shaking, house quaking, eyes welling, and folks-a-yelling performance every time DFJ hits the stage!

The newest member of the DFJ family! Hailing from Houston Texas. He's a schooled jazz and funk player, bringing his style of soulful harmony and animation to the DFJ Party. Nursing a grove until it's full grown and funky; don't be afraid to put a little Hambone in your soup!

The Sweatman
Keyboards, Vocals
Located in the heart of the Capitol of Texas, The Sweatman is no stranger to music. Bringing style, showmanship, and deadly accurate keyboard parts to the DFJ table, Sweatman brings the crowd to the dance floor every show; whether it is to get a better view of the music he's creating or the outfit he is wearing. A flurry of activity stage-left, Sweatman's professionalism and personality on and off the stage will have you coming back to a DFJ show again and again!

Chris "Mad" Max
Guitar, Vocals
Mr. Max tore the roof off of clubs and large venues all over Florida before getting caught in the funky tractor beam of DysFunkshun and heading West. A born showman and electrifying 6-string man, Chris joins Dysfunkshun with one goal in mind: Get the crowd up, dancing, and screaming with abandon and he effortlessly manipulates his guitar and works the stage. His talent, look, and great personality provide a crucial element to DFJ. Come to a show and experience entertainment, Road Warrior style!

A-Train
Percussion, Vocals
Making a name for himself in Southern Texas and New Mexico before arriving in Austin, A-Train has established himself as the area's foremost percussionists. Combining a knack for finding just the right sound and rhythm needed, and an uncanny blend of humor and showmanship, A-Train propels the band to great heights every show, while maintaining the good-time party atmosphere with wild clothes and an ever present smile. A-Trains attitude and commitment to the show is what a good-time party band is all about!

Marc "Thunda" Barry
Drums, more Drums
Marc immediately earned his nickname after joining the group with his devastating ability behind the drum kit. The former Mid-Western boy has fans and band members alike shaking their heads in disbelief as he lays down thunder and fury while finding the groove, bringing a pillow and blanket as he settles into a pocket so deep, we all climb inside and join him! It is impossible not to feel the party kicking when Marc plays…period. Joining with DFJ,
