Riptide has been performing in South Texas for the past seven years and in that
time they have become one of the hottest bands in the area. They have performed
at Bayfest, George West Storyfest, Fulton Oysterfest, Rockport Seafair,
Lamardigra, and countless other venues and benefits throughout the area. Riptide
is made up of three musicians, who love what they do. Their high energy stage
show allows them to play four to five hour gigs, with NO breaks!! The bands
versatility in the styles of music they play is second to none. Genres include
50's & 60's rock roll, surf, swing, honky tonk, rockabilly, everything in
between, and their original music. The band strives for excellence in every
performance and gear their shows towards the younger crowds, by not drinking
alcohol or cursing on stage. (If we wouldn't do it in front of our mom, we won't
do it!!) Let's face it, you haven't seen a show until you have seen a Riptide
show.
